After an extensive renovation of our old 1950’s house, lockdown gave us the opportunity to turn our attention to our own neglected garden.
When we purchased the house a few years ago, it was heavily overgrown and mostly laid to lawn. After clearing the site, the extensive building works had caused it to deteriorate further and it was in desperate need of a full remodel.

As a small garden, one of our main focuses was to maximise the space. We were keen to create two terraces, one for dining and the other for evening seating.

We built a composite decking extending from the rear bi-folding doors which connects to a BBQ area at the top of the garden along a porcelain path.
Features include an integrated fire, hammock area, water feature with small pond and contemporary Venetian fencing along the side boundaries.

The hard landscaping was then softened with a full modern planting scheme, including architectural evergreens and seasonal flowers.
