When MH Landscapes were called to give Kathryn a quote for her back garden to be completely made-over, it was tired and overgrown and had become a dead space that her young family weren’t able to enjoy. There was an old rotting decking that doubled as a path to the back gate and a very obvious incline to the lawn that meant no garden furniture could be used without toppling over. Kathryn wanted a safe place for her son to play and a stylish area to host BBQ’s with friends.
Our team set to work taking up the existing lawn and re-leveling the ground so that a new flat lawn could be sown in its place. A sleeper retaining wall was then inserted with built in steps to allow access down to the new Riven paved patio. Stepping stones were then positioned along the lawn to lead a safe path to the back gate and lights were added to the step for extra visibility at night. Finally, a paved shed base was built in the top corner to allow Kathryn an area to store her things without cluttering the new garden.
Kathryn and her family now have a stylish and low maintenance space to add to their home and enjoyment for years to come.
